From 7 to 10 July, 2024, BIG was in attendance at the 40th Annual Meeting of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, where the following presentations were given:
- “Redefining elective co-parenting: a systematic assessment of concepts and definitions found in the literature and a recommendation for new terminology” by Lei Decappelle
- “Identifying essential information for a valid informed consent (IC) of egg donors: An international Delphi study” by Lara Jacxsens
- “The ethics of disclosing reported conditions in donor-conceived offspring to recipients of the same donor” by Dorian Accoe
- “New principles for the use of artificial intelligence in human reproduction: leave everything as it is?” by Michiel De Proost
In addition, Prof. Heidi Mertes and Prof. Seppe Segers chaired sessions.
