Michiel De Proost is graduated as master in Philosophy and Moral Sciences in 2015 (Free University Brussels) and as master in Gender and Diversity one year later. In 2022 he obtained his Ph.D. in Philosophy and Moral Sciences at the Free University Brussels with a thesis on ‘social’ egg freezing and reproductive autonomy.
He works on the ‘DIME’ ERC project, focussing on the ethical aspects of broader, more general evolutions in medicine and the impact of disruptive innovation in healthcare on medical ethics.
His research interests are in empirical (bio)ethics, the field of reproductive medicine, disruptive technologies, and feminist philosophy.
